Benofie Wedding

Retroactive post about Benofie wedding.

It was a hot day.
I barely got off my butt to get ready. But it would have been awful to flake out on a wedding, right? Plus I thought we'd see old friends. Which I did!

Of course we saw our usual bunch.
Sasami & b/f A. Panda. Ku. Allen & g/f A. Dave.
Dennis showed up late, so stood w/ us in the shade during the ceremony.

Oh, the paper umbrellas (red & gold) and folding fans were real cute. Since it was a hot day and all. It's too bad they were asked to put the umbrellas away during the ceremony... cuz they sure looked hot.

We stood in the shade in the back. Along w/ two other couples w/ critters (one couple had twin? toddlers... and the guy was carrying both of them. じゅるる said he'd rather die right now than have to endure that) and a pregnant woman.

Benofie's (female end) dress was really cute on her! And the red roses bouquet was awesome. You hardly see red at weddings, and I thought it was カッコいい. The male end looked hot in his 3-piece suit. Not "hawt" but may-have-a-heat-stroke hot. Oh, but he looked pretty too (just in case he's reading).

While the bridal/groomal party was taking official photos, the rest of us were herded into a saloon & patio for drinks & light food. I didn't eat breakfast or lunch (forgot from the heat), so I was lunging at every server there. Sorry. I was real hungry.

And that's where I chatted w/ Jackie & Alex (they didn't bring J-boy, and said they should have seeing all the other critters) for a long time. I also talked a bit to Jek, Adam & Z too.

I think I explained to a lot of people on why Ards wasn't there (sick) and why Steph wasn't there (convention/work).

Dinner was nice. I'm glad there were lots of veggies.
The dining area was kinda tight, so I ran over someone's leg. Like real hard, cuz he yelped.

Since Popo fell asleep during dinner, we left before we had dessert or cake. We didn't get to participate in the iPhone Touch game they did too.

The gift card/cash box was taken away, so we couldn't drop off our gift. We'll have to send it to them, I guess.
